We would like to introduce our latest website designed for the Fingal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
We were pleased to offer our services free to this very worthwhile charity. Their previous website had served them well but had proven difficult to update and the volunteers who run the charity didn’t feel confident about amending or editing information.
With this in mind, we approached the design of the site keeping in mind the keywords of ease of use and flexibility. The site needed to showcase the work of the society, their history and what they do and this information needed to be clear and easily understood.
In addition we have included social media icons and links, a direct dial button so mobile users can dial the Society via their mobile phones, a google map that indicates the areas covered by the charity. There is now an iDonate button for those who would like to contribute online to the Society.
One of the most frequently updated areas we have included on the Home Page. The news & events and the Needing homes sections and a Facebook Widget are all now on the front page and when updates are made, the most up to date information will always appear there. This site is light, loads easily and is optimised for viewing across all media. It will also be easier for the volunteers to update with new information and imagery.
